Pasta MachineNov 05, 2009 Excellent, well-designed product. Easy to use and can stand up to my 4 yo playing with it! Worth the money.

Works with gluten-free dough.Nov 02, 2009 I bought this machine with some trepidation, knowing that I would be attempting to run gluten-free dough through it. The first recipe that I tried was a little difficult, but then I tried Bette Hagman's recipe for Bean Flour Pasta (The Gluten-Free Gourmet, revised edition). It works very well with this machine. Now I can have fresh pasta without having to hand-roll and cut it.
The machine itself appears to be very strong and well-built. The clamp mechanism could be a little better, but it works okay with my island. I definitely recommend it.
Cooking made fun!Sep 13, 2009 Just a little ditty, this is so easy and so much fun. 2 c all purpose floor, 3 eggs 40 sec in the food processor then you have your dough. let it sit for 15 min and push it through, clean up is easy, set up is easy, and figuring out is a breese. I've done it a few times now and it doesn't get old, I'm worried about gaining weight from eating more pasta. I suggest getting a good food processor along with the complete noodle book by America' Test Kitchen and you are instantly a wonderful Italian women, cooking away.
a great convenienceSep 03, 2009 Evaluating the machine for what it is, I is simple to set up and use, and is effective. I've used it on a variety of doughs and it performs as one would hope in each case. Perhaps it could be a bit wider, but that's a quibble. It cleans very easily.

False advertisingJul 28, 2009 Amazon advertises this Atlas pasta machine as made of stainless steel. The manufacturer's website confirms that the unit is made of other types of metal and coatings. No where on the product itself does it read stainless steel.
