 Stops Working after One Year, Poor Customer SupportNov 19, 2009
This unit stopped working after one year. Even when it was working, it through sparks on start up, making it of questionable safety: I was reluctant to leave it on at night or unattended. DeLonghi will not replace it if it is over one year old, and any repair would cost more than the unit itself. If you have bought this unit, I would recommend returning it before the warranty ends. Delonghi is well aware of the reliability issues with this heater.

 Probably your best choice for a bedromNov 14, 2009
Had it for over a year now, no problems. It is attached to the wall. It is one of the few heaters that does not produce any visible light, important for a bedroom. Quiet also.
The only thing that heats faster are the quartz heaters, but having the bright red glow going on and off all night is probably not going to work for most people. So this is clearly the best choice for a bedroom. We run ours at low (750 watt) because it is a small bedroom and it just seems safer to have it on low. Saves a lot of money, we turn the furnace down to 45 F at night and are plenty warm while we sleep.
I'm sure it would be great for other rooms, though a quartz would heat up a bit faster.

The heater is quiet and efficient. Perfect for a chilly kitchen. Hope that it lasts. Ordered the extended service just to play it safe.

This is a powerful heater with wheels. Worth the investment for an electric heater. Has a tip over shut off feature and wont overheat. will cover your bedroom and it's slim.
Quiet heat; quick comfortNov 08, 2009
We have been pleased with the quiet heat provided by this space heater, which we are using in a three-seasons room. To date, outdoor temps have registered no lower than 28 F, so its effectiveness in providing supplemental heat when the Iowa winter really sets in remains to be tested. However, we will, meanwhile, enjoy the silent warmth it provides to ease a chilly morning or evening.
