Another 5 Star Armik Album... Surprised?Feb 15, 2006 At this point we should not be so surprised to hear another great Armik album. I wonder, why would anybody give this album less than five stars? It is a strong album with a nice variety of soft and delicate movements but also with more powerful aggressive ones at times. Everything fits. While I do not have all of his albums, I suspect from what I have heard that none of his albums are bad. This is some really beautiful stuff, and he is a talented musician. Thank you Armik!

No regretsDec 22, 2001 I first heard Armik's Gypsy Flame in California. I purchased that one and whenever I listen to it, I'm transported to another era. Since then I've purchased almost all his cd's and continue to love them equally. Isla del Sol stands out a little bit more for me because it's the one I equate with a muse, sun, comforting arm, vacation...you get the idea.

Armik joins the league of the World's Best GuitaristAug 30, 2001 This CD makes my collection of ALL Things ARMIK complete! What do you say about someone who has bought the entire series of CDs of one talent? "He/She is MAD!", right? Yes ... I'm Mad ... mad about the music brought about from Master Guitarist, Armik Dashchi. Armik gives me alluringly sweet music with soul; great talent; fiery passion and with the most invisible 'feel-good' sensation. It all started when I had a chance listen to Track 1 of "Guitar Greats - Best of New Flamenco" (Armik's Isla Del Sol). This was the first CD i collected. In 1-1/2 months, I've bought each and every CD that Armik has recorded on Baja/TSR. The rest is history. May I add that, all the other CDs not mentioned here (Gypsy Flame/Rubia/Rosas Del Amor/Malaga/Rain Dancer) also showcase Armik's rare, unique guitar talent. Well done, Armik. You made my day. Don't ever stop ... give me (us) more of your special talent in your coming CDs. Don't worry, I'll keep up with you (You record 'em ... I'll collect 'em) P.S. An important note on Armik's CDs for techies ... They are all mastered by Bernie Grundman (of Bernie Grundman Studios/Mastering). Bernie is considered by most as the 'guru' of sound (pun not intended) mastering. Just listen and you can't help noticing the pristine recording qualities that flow out of Bernie's efforts ...

Very good stuffJun 12, 2001 Armik has this amazing ability to completely relax the mind and soul through his music. This album is no exception. Once you hit play, just sit back and let the music entrance you. This is very, very good flamenco guitar and I highly recommend this album.
