Messed up my laptop Dec 13, 2008 I was very excited about getting Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0. When I received it I immediately installed it into my fairly new laptop. At the time I was going into my second year with the laptop, so it had more than enough memory and speed to process the program. However, immediately after installing the program, my laptop went S L O W... I let it sit there for a while until finally taking it to one of my buddies who works on computers. He told me the program slows the program and recommended a different system that is ad effective without the hassles. After removing it, I haven't had any issues with my laptop. Unfortunately I waited around to long to get my money back.
works greatOct 12, 2008 I read the review at CNET and I purchased Kaspersky Internet Security software. The product was easy to install, it updates automatically, and it alerts me anytime that I run into a virus on the internet. I haven't had any problems with the product and I feel that it works great.
rebate is a scamSep 25, 2008 The product is very good however, the rebate that was advertised never was sent after I purchased it. I called amazon and they were able to email the application but the spitulation was I needed to send an old proof of purchase from my old virus program. mine was over two years old and I lost the paperwork. So the rebate of $24.99 was not available. Its just another big company rebate scam. They know customers never keep or save those old documents and hardly anyone really gets the rebates.
It did not work Sep 23, 2008 The Kaspersky 7.0 wouldn't work with Windows XP I kept getting error messages and the computer locked up. Removed version 7 and installed the latest download. Then every thing worked great.
Best Anti-Virus software.Aug 25, 2008 After more than 12 years using Norton Anti-virus products I decided to research the available other Anti-virus products. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 was listed as the #1 choice by several PC tech sites. The ease and simplicity of installation was refreshing, it was easy and fast. The program is unique in that it refreshes it's database in the background every 4-6 hrs, so you always have the latest anti-virus definitions up and running. It requires very little system resources compared to Norton products, which lightens the load on your CPU and RAM. It comes with a license for 3 installations which should cover most family household needs.
I would recommend this product to anyone searching for the easiest and safest Anti-virus software.
