Excellent!Nov 28, 2008 I love this program! I load my pre-drawn images in and it immediately recognizes the black from the white (unlike photoshop), so you can put tones in right away with scanned images. The screen tones are enough to make your head spin there are so many of them!
Very easy and fun, and a great price for experimenting with whether you want to buy to pro version (EX, though unless you are a pro, it's good for any non-professional). ALso very flexible, it goes great with "manga studio for dummies" for learning all the ins-and-outs.
Definitely would recommend it!

Serial Numbers Don't Work!Nov 08, 2008 I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing problems getting this software to start on my Mac. It asks me for the serial number, I input it absolutely correctly (upper case, zero instead of letter O), and it keeps telling me I'm using an incorrect serial number. I checked online and their help section just says "input the number correctly." Thanks, big help. I am going to try and return this at the Apple Store. If they don't take it, I'm out $50. Either the software is terrible, or their production line is terrible (inserting disc sleeves with incorrect numbers). Will not use Manga Studio software again.

Worst Service Ever!!!! Beware!!!!Sep 09, 2008 I bought this item from Amazon and it arrived last night. I tried to install it on my computer but I kept getting the message "invalid serial number" even though the serial number was typed correctly. We called the company this morning and were told they would email the correct serial number in a few minutes. Hours passed. No email. We called again. They told us they would email the serial number. We did receive an email from them but it did not include the serial number. The email instructed us to scan in the receipt and the software packaging with the incorrect serial number. We complied. A while later we received another email requesting we submit the materials again. We called and asked for a supervisor. The gentlemen I spoke to said he was a supervisor. I asked for his supervisor. His answer: "This is where it ends." I asked if he was the President of the company. His answer: "He's out of the country. It ends with me." As of now we still do not have the serial number and cannot use the software we paid for. I'm sure it will eventually work but this process has been unnecessarily stressful. If you buy this product you'd better pray that you don't have a problem. Customer service at this company is awful!!!!
