This dictionary may not be workable with Window Vista...Sep 03, 2007 I bought this visual dictionary for my kids and tried to install this on my brand new laptop computer with a high expectation of being used a lot by them. However, it does not work at all (after completion of installment, I clicked an icon to start this dictionary but only to get a bizzare message) and what is worse is that I cannot find any solution or advice from its installing guide or even from its web site to get out of this kind of trouble. I still don't know what the exact problem is and if this product is not workable with Window Vista, I believe there should be a clear warning for that. Very disappointing for me and my kids as well...

Love itFeb 21, 2007 Great software. There is a pronunciation for each words and also a definitions but it is much more than just a dictionary. I very much enjoy the activities great way to learn new words and fun too.

This is not a dictionaryJan 15, 2007 I've bought this as an update to the earlier dictionary that they released and that I have used for years. It is quite convenient to have a dictionary on one's computer, I have had the same one now for six years, and this was cheap enough so that I decided to see what the update would look like. Basically, this is not a dictionary anymore, it is more like an encyclopedia and not particularly useful if you want to know how to spell a word or what the word means. The graphics in the interface are very attractive, but I think there is some false advertising, or at worst a bait and switch going on here. If you want a good instructional educational piece of software for your kids, fine, I'm sure they will enjoy playing with this, but it has nothing to do with looking up words.
