It's good, but the battery lifeis not very long.Nov 21, 2009 It's good. But when battery is recharged, sometimes the mouse had to be reconnected to the computer before it can be used. And there is no signal to know whether the battery has been fully recharged. The mouse will feel a little hot when the battery was recharging. The sensitive of the mouse is very good and the mouse can be used on almost every kind of serface, like glass, plastic and wood.
Anyway, I recommend this mouse to you. If you are looking for a good and not expensive mouse for your laptop, this mouse can be you choice.
My Favorite MouseNov 20, 2009 Really good product. Love it. My fourth Microsoft Wireless (Bluetooth) Mouse. Reviewed the current prices of the others and this one costs the least, but is by far my favorite.
Read some reviews before I purchased and agree that it has real smooth action and scrolling.
Also love the fact that you don't need to take out the "single" AAA battery to recharge (and can use with power button on or off whilst recharging). And the fact that it actually ships with a rechargeable battery is for me, a major plus. Then the 1GB flash on the transceiver is such a handy tool. Often get stuck out of the office, no flash, no way to snag a file I'll need. Problem solved; have my mouse with it's in-built flash! It's also a good tool for carrying files one might need, sort of like a mini briefcase attached to your mouse.
Only snag is that the pouch is too small to fit mouse cable & transceiver all at once and even fitting the mouse alone is a squeeze. Overcame that by selecting and purchasing a pouch that CAN hold all three nicely and is not bulky. I'd say order one with your mouse, but if you are looking to get a wireless/bluetooth mouse (it's both), I'd say - go for this one it's worth every $ and much more.
Great little mobile!Oct 31, 2009 I really like this mouse for use with my laptop. It is a little more ergonomic than most this size. It's very comfortable and that is mainly why I bought it. The transceiver is also a 1 GB flash drive, which was a plus for me. Overall I'm very satisfied with the product.
good valueOct 22, 2009 This is a great value in my opinion. I paid 27$ after tax and shipping. It comes with a 1 gb flash drive that is used as a rf receiver and a charger for a aaa nimh battery. It also comes with a case made of neoprene that zips everything into it. Even if the mouse dies, you still have a 1gb flash drive. It works with bluetooth only if you install the microsoft suckware in osx. It worked for me in leopard and snow leopard, xp and vista. Sadly this mouse does not work well in linux because of the proprietary software. In linux you will only be able to use it with the 2.4 reciever and only able to use 3 buttons of the 5. There is linux software out there on the interwebs for full 5 button use, but I could not ever get it to work right. Also could find no support for bluetooth in linux. Bottom line: great value if you are ok with using the MS proprietary software and don't plan on using it in linux.
amazon verified purchaseOct 14, 2009 very pleased to buy a high-tech mouse unfortunately it doesn't work.I ask help from a knowledgeable person unluckyly it didn't work at all.At first the battery indicator lighted then forever gone.We have never had a chance to use it even just a minute.Maybe a bad one happened to be sent to me,I dont know, according to some reviews I've read, this is a good mouse but it failed my expectation. Will return it.
