4Duh...Jul 26, 2008
Of course you need flight simulator x to run this. It says expansion pack for the award winning flight simulator x right where you buy it. The title of the game even says its just a mission(mission: WWI Dogfight).

2I don't get it...Jun 25, 2008
I'm not a techno geek. So it may very well be my fault that this game doesn't run on my computer. I have an up to date PC, yet this thing won't fly. Be sure to read the fine print- it's an add-on, not a stand-alone game. You need to have Flight Simulator X in order for it to run (which cost me another $50). What they really need to do is make a stand-alone version of this game. Disappointing, because I'd love to see a new WW 1 flight simulator. My Red Baron 3D is getting long in the tooth now.
