Epic FailJan 09, 2010 The only thing i have to say about these game it that it would be a great game for very young girls that would be interested in Nancy Drew. Compared to the Her Interactive Nancy drew games, this games was and epic fail.
terrible in comparison to herinteractive's versionDec 21, 2009 I bought this on sale @ target in their "discounted" rack during the week of Christmas. I did not like this DS game at all. The graphics are horrid, and its hard to maneuver around. I found the game very disappointing for the 11 dollars I paid for it. I have played the Nancy Drew games by Her Interactive for the PC and I find them much more enjoyable. Besides being on a bigger screen you are not playing as a 3rd person, you play in 1st person. It was annoying to have to be on the correct "circle" to get into doors or different parts of the room. The worst puzzle was having to move around to different slots to each separate part of the slot for 5 different doors.
There was very little interaction with the characters and the items which I found very disappointing. You are running around in a scavenger hunt for things that I found really unnecessary and the music was reminiscent of an 8bit old school Nintendo game. This company may be trying to cash into the Nancy Drew franchiseNancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy but I will not be purchasing anything from this company in the future and neither should you.

DisappointedSep 18, 2009 The game is fun but at two different places I got "stuck" and had to re-start the game. Once when I got to the dock to talk to Doyle to try to find his cat. I had not gotten the fish in the village so couldn't get the key for the boat and couldn't go anywhere else either. I was stuck in about 3 scenes and couldn't get out. I had to re-start the game. The 2nd time I was on the roof of the lighhouse and got stuck in the corner and couldn't move. I tried and tried but was stuck in that corner. Once again, I had to re-start the game (and for those of you who have played the game, you know that is near the end !!) Very frustrating........... The game is fun and I enjoyed playing it a great deal but it does have some glitches in it, at least mine did.
Fun and Entertaining!Aug 12, 2009 This Nancy Drew game is definitely better than the first one. If you haven't played the first one, don't buy it for yourself. Try it first from someone else. But if you haven't played this one yet, definitely buy it for yourself!!!! It was very entertaining and you aren't just on the mansion grounds the whole time. You get to go to a woman's house, a town to explore, and you get to drive a boat and scooter! You solve this game yourself and the game doesn't lead you other places automatically. You have to find clues and converse with people before you go anywhere. If I were you, I would definitely buy this game. NOT A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Don't listen to other reviews about how it was "OK" because it was better than OK. It was challeging and made me think. It Rocked!
:-)Happy Sleuthing
