It's a pleasure to juice!Mar 11, 2010
Recently bought the Omega J8006 Juicer. Juicing was just time consuming and messy before. I had the traditional juicer which had too many parts and took forever to clean! With the omega juicer there are fewer parts to clean and it is quite silent. The only drawback is that the shoot to put the juicing items is a bit too small and a little more preparation time is taken, however all the other features make up for this disadvantage! The investment is surely worth it!

Unacknowledged Juicer Defect!Mar 01, 2010 Terrible experience with this Juicer and this company. Brand new straight out of the package the auger grinds against metal mesh, clearly visible chunks and strips of plastic comes off the auger before any vegetable goes in! Replacement juicers had the same problem. They even assembled a juicer (they conveniently didn't turn the juicer on to test if it works properly) and shipped it fully assembled, even this one had the same problem with the auger getting scraped. Not all of their juicers do this as I have a friend who is still using hers and she has no problems whatsoever. Read my other post for details.

First time juicer, absolutely love itFeb 25, 2010 I've been dying to buy a juicer for years now and finally took the plunge and spent the extra money to buy one that seemed well made and well reviewed. Just arrived tonight and I went out and bought a bunch of kale, radishes, celery, carrots, beets, spinach, apples, and pears so I could immediately start a new creation. The assembly was already almost complete straight out of the box, so all I had to do was wash my greens and cut them to fit into the chute. I turned it on and fed all kinds of goodies down the chute and watched as the first thing through (spinach) resulted in a pool of bright green juice in the bin. The chewed up by product came out very dry and the process was quick AND QUIET! The thing hardly made any noise at all, the only sound really coming from the "chewing action", which was like listening to someone chew with their mouth open, only instead of gross it's cool. I only juiced a fraction of the veggies I bought (although I made a mix of beet/carrot/celery/spinach/kale/radish/apple juice) and came out with almost a quart of juice. The clean up was a breeze, since all the parts come apart and reassemble with ease. It was a bigger pain in the butt to wash the veggies than it was to juice them and clean the juicer and put it away. I know I've only had it a few hours, but so far I am very impressed with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
J8006 My first juicerFeb 01, 2010 I decided to shop for a juicer after my daughter had great health improvement and weight loss on a recent juice fast. I researched juicers on Amazon and elsewhere. I found the reviews so helpful that I decided to go to the effort of writing a review. I couldn't afford some of the highly rated machines but in this price range I found J8006 met my requirements. It is efficient, produces a lot of juice and very dry fiber. Juicing greens is a pain because pieces get pulled out when the pusher is lifted, but what juicer won't do the same. We are still having fun, making frozen banana parfait with chunks of dark chocolate and frozen bing cherries chopped up. Readers can see that we won't be having weight loss benefits if we keep this up.
The juicer is easy to take apart and easy to clean. I love it.
Love It! Love It!Jan 31, 2010 This juicer is a joy to use. Very easy clean-up. I have owned 2 other juicers (Breville and Jack Lalane) and this one is worth the money. Yes, you do need to cut the produce in smaller pieces but that only takes a few additional seconds. I'm juicing 2 times a day now. I believe the juice taste better because of the masticating process. It is well worth the money and the guarantee is great. I even juiced Arugula last night! Enjoy!
