The Pandigital photo frame is one of the first digital photo frames based on Personal Media Player chipset, and not a DVD chipset which is designed for portable DVD players. This translates into faster loading of images, ability to playback music during slideshow, faster copying to internal memory, and a menu interface that is easy to use.

Pandigital frames function as a digital photo album, MP3 music player, and video player all in one, and offer an industry first 64MB of internal memory which allows storage of 50 - 100 images.
With Pandigital photo frames, customers can download photos directly into the frames' internal memory from their digital devices the way that is most convenient for them. Pandigital photo frames include a 6-in-1 media reader (SD, XD, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, CF, MMC) so customers can insert flash media into the frame, quickly and easily copy photos, video and music and then return the card to the electronic device. pandigital photo frames --- money wastedJun 05, 2008 I purchased a pandigital 8" photo frame for my husband for Christmas. It lasted about three weeks before the screen went blank and it no longer worked. The manufacturer did not stand by the warranty which is only 90 days to begin with. Even though it broke within 30 days of use and 45 days of purchase they would not replace the frame. We wrote to the president of the company and did get a phone call but still no assistance. They promised to "think about" replacing it after I said I would share this bad report but they never took action. Do not waste your money on a frame that has no company behind it! Big money down the drain!
Terrible product and even worse customer serviceMay 24, 2008 Customer service on this product is terrible. If you buy one of these, be sure you test is ASAP, because they can and do have faulty products. If you are a minute past 90days you are SOL, and you might have just taken the money for the frame and flushed it down the toilet with way less frustration. The USB port on the one I purchased doesn't work, and they won't even exchange it for me. I've never used the thing! BUYER BEWARE!

No customer serviceApr 20, 2008 Pandigital 5.6-Inch LCD Digital Picture Frame
I recieved this frame for Christmas.It abruptly stopped working. There is a website but obviously no one ever checks the e-mail.I have sent them 3 e-mails without a response.I called the 1-800 customer service line and was put on hold for more than 20 minutes (my limit) and hung up. DO NOT buy this product ,there is alot better frames out there with good service if needed.
Only lasted 3 1/2 months! Things just don't last forever any more!?!?Apr 19, 2008 I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you are willing to purchase another when this one dies after a short time.
It started when I could no longer set the time, every time I would try and set it the clock and it would skip an hour ahead just after setting it. Fine, I lived with that, it could no longer find a photo I had stored in the frame (said invalid format), so I went to re-install the photo and that was it, the frame faded to black and nothing more!
After calling customer service they were willing to ship me a power adaptor for free but thats it, seems I no longer have the receipt and the 90 day warranty is up so I am out of luck.
DO NOT BUY THIS!!

WARNING - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCTApr 10, 2008 I Highly recommend going with a reputable company such as Kodak or Philips as this is a fly buy night operation. Though the price may beat the competitors it is reflective of the product quality and customer service. Product purchased for mothers day last year. Loading pics was not difficult if you have a good level of comfort with transferring files; manual is terrible. Also, could not view as thumbnails if you want to manipulate to display in a certain order. Picture was adequate though the pixels are evident from 12 inches are less. At this point a 2 1/2. Then the other shoe dropped.
After eight months the unit basically failed; it began emitted a buzzing sound and then the monitor became distorted with lines and distortion. I sent an email using their support link, receiving a tough luck response. Follow up communications were not responded to. Looking through the reviews (wish I would have before purchase) it appears this is not uncommon.
Do not make the same error by purchasing this product.
