Pentax Porro Prism BinocularsSep 17, 2008 Pentax has always made a superior product and the really did with this item. I bought these as a gift and am very happy with them. They are a little higher in price but that is the quality item. Why you might ask? They came in a black leather case and a necck strap. They are APPRX. 5 inches high by 5 inches wide and 2 inches deep and are adjustable to your face (eye) speration. Lifetime limited warrenty. Instructions make it very clear to only use lens cleaner no "Windex". These are true binoculars, you do not just adjust one but both for a great three D effect. We used them to look at the mountain that is apprx. 1000 feet from our home and it brought it so close and clear.
I can highly recommend Pentax.

I Love These Little Gems Sep 06, 2008 Small, compact, lightweight, perfect for hiking. Living where wildlife and birds are in abundance, these handy binoculars are essential for viewing up close. These are close range binoculars, so you won't be able to view things too far away. At Amazon's current price, these are a steal.

Butterfly Binoculars-Super Close RangeDec 03, 2007 These are very special for viewing close-ups while sitting on your patio or deck, or walking the forest. They act like a microscope, are super bright, and can focus on flowers, insects, hummingbirds, and butterflies within inches!! No others have this super close-up abilities...

Nice and CompactAug 26, 2007 Good quality view. I find the price a bit high considering the limited capability of these binoculars. The image quality is good but the magnification is limited for celestial work. For terrestrial viewing my kids love them. My kids find them easy to hold but a bit fiddly to focus. My kids like the "cool" shape of them. Overall a pretty decent value.

Good product, good seller, crappy deliverer...Dec 06, 2006 First, I am a very beginner to binoculars, so I don't have anything to commment on spec matter. I just received the item from the seller(OneCall). It was promptly shipped via overnight.
When I first tried the binocular, I was impressed. I ordered this binocular for mainly indoor use, and it fit my need perfectly. Although I have some complaints about design of the carrying case, I am overall satisfied with the item.
Now, THE PROBLEM is the FedEx. The FedEx delivery driver left the package at the wrong door! I live in apartment complex, and each door has label of unit number written nicely in Arabic numerals. There was also my unit number clearly printed on the package's address label, and he still left the package in front of wrong door. What a joke. Couldn't he read even Arabic numerals? How did he find his job!?
