Eye Toy Camera is for more than just gamesNov 25, 2006 I've played a lot of Eye Toy Kinetic for Playstation 2 with this device, and it works very well. The only issue you might have is when you use the optional 'Fullview' lens for that game your lighting might have to be adjusted for optimum play.
Playstation 3 uses this device as well for video chat and some games yet to come out as of this writing.
Also as a side note, these can be used as high resolution web cameras with the Linux Operating System using an unoffical driver.
