controller armor ps3Nov 23, 2008 Triggers work as advertised. They fit pefectly on controller makes playing games far easier. Armor does not work as well. It's bulky and hard to press the buttens. the triggers are worth the money the armer is not.
Triggers work GREAT!!!Nov 17, 2008 The plate is worthless (I trew mine out right away). The triggers are SWEET. Perfect for when you play shooting games
Close, but no cigar...Nov 02, 2008 The Controller Armor could be seen as a poor repackaging of a very useful product--two Real Triggers--with a shameful add-on--the aluminum faceplate. I would have bought four pairs of real triggers at $5 a pop, but for $10 it's too much for the part of this product I wanted. Take in mind, the real triggers click on as extensions of the L2 & R2 buttons, and are just molded plastic, so they could easily be sold for $1-2 a pair. They function well and keep your fingers from sliding off as can happen when playing games like Motorstorm. The do what they do and aren't a reimagining of the Dualshock 3, so you still have to deal with the changes in the controller that make it feel small in the hands and like the L/R-buttons are all placed a bit too high for the natural position of your index fingers. The PS2 dualshock feels much more natural.
Forget the armorNov 02, 2008 The armor is NOT why you should buy this (as a PS3 owner). The trigger covers are absolutely brilliant and completely necessary for any driving games that use the R2/L2 triggers for acceleration or boosting (Burnout, Motorstorm 1 & 2, WipEout, etc.). A+
Buy just the triggers, not the armor kitOct 03, 2008 Like most reviewers stated, the triggers itself is good. Not the armor (steel color cover), that's not worth the extra $5. You can now just get the triggers, made by Gioteck (the company that made the original triggers that were bundled free with PSM magazines) at GameCrazy stores for half the price, around $5. Probably (and hopefully), more stores in the future will offer just the triggers package.
