 Failed on day 3Mar 15, 2010
This unit seemed to be really nice. Worked fine for two days, but then it quit. Still gets power, but it's otherwise frozen. Can't reset because the reset button doesn't seem to exist, although they claim there is one. Besides, you use this as an alarm clock, do you really trust it if it's going to go belly up whenever the heck it wants.? Heck no. Back this one goes. Return to sender. Sayonara.

I purchased the Oasis sound machine to replace another brand that I had used for years. This one is awesome. It is easy to navigate and has a great selection of sounds. The additional card hasn't been used yet. Would definitely recommend this one.
excellent white sound system--no problems for 2 yearsJan 29, 2010
Bought this sound system to counter snoring well over two years ago and it has worked perfectly every night. Good selection of sound options (we use the waterfall on the Spa Retreat card). If you want something reliable that allows you to select options and sound level, this is a good one. Small enough (size of a large alarm clock) that we take it when we travel. Very satisfied with this product after doing a lot of research into white sound machines.

I researched these sound machines before purchasing the Sound Oasis. I found this one to work just as well as the more expensive brands. The sounds are nice. I am a light sleeper. I wanted something to drown out the noise from outside. I still find that my portable fan does better for getting rid of background noise at night but the device works fine.

I like the product - easy to use, nice sounds, but it doesn't do as much sound blocking as I had hoped.
