Not the best cd I've ever purchased. It does not put me to sleep like others I have purchased. I guess you get what you pay for.

This tape transports me back to a favorite island beach (empty in the rainy season); the darkness of the night sky above the black rolling waves a backdrop to an intense audio experience. That said, let me stress for perfectionists, the sound quality of this recording is not perfect. Though, after the first listen I no longer cared. This is a storm to sooth with just the right amount of thunder diminishing gradually and naturally to a low rumble at the end. The waves are perfect for methodically relaxing the spirit. There's no music, new age or otherwise for you to grow bored with -- this is as fresh as, well, rain, every time you listen to it. When I can't fall asleep I put this on. Also highly recommended for deep meditation.

I have a CD Player at the head of my bed and have many CD's for relaxation => sleep. This is the CD that I find myself most often returning to for the quite peaceful thunder and ocean waves.

I love this cd. Simple waves crashing and a dash of thunder. I listen to it for meditation, for fun ocean feel, and for energy work sessions with clients. If you want some ocean and like a little thunder then get it.
