Best MBP Hard Case Currently AvailableJan 19, 2008 I've used both this and the competing product from Speck. The Techshell product has several advantage over the Speck:
1. More seamless, better look and feel than the Speck. The Speck has weird shapes and grooves ont he lid piece that ruin the lines of the MacBook Pro.
2. Hole on the bottom that allows you to access the battery testing hole.
3. Slightly cheaper.
I haven't had the DVI issue the other poster mentions. The only critique I would make is that I wish the bottom piece had a second set of clips closer to the back hinge area of the MacBook Pro to make the bottom piece a bit more secure, but this is a minor quibble and not a major issue.
