Pure country music, great singer, sweet Cd, not one song I don't like, I highly recommend.

5Country to remind you of times gone byNov 25, 2007
I had never heard of Tresa and bought this CD on a lark and I'm glad I did. The songs have great melodies and the lyrics offer visualization so vivid that if you close your eyes, you can picture what's going on or even remember a personal time of your own. Dancin' on Daddy's Feet tells of a woman who remembers her daddy asking her to dance with him and walking around with her on his shoes. Sweetwater Road tells of growing up in a very simple home where music, fishing and looking at the stars were cherished activities. All of the songs on this CD are good and I highly recommend it for anyone who likes country and likes lyrics that actually touch the listeners.

5Sounds greatDec 14, 2006
I really love this CD. I had never heard of this artist, until I seen her on tv singing "Angels Cry". I am going to go buy this CD!

5The best CD you'll ever buyAug 30, 2006
If you are wanting a CD that every song is great, the music moves you, the singer has an amazing voice and you can feel, smell and live each moment of every song....this is the CD for you! I think my CD is almost worn out~I've played it daily since I purchased it!

3Singer-songwriter acoustic country popAug 05, 2006
Jordan's '70s-styled country-pop singer-songwriter throwback is finding success by employing the most modern of marketing techniques. In addition to the traditional push from her label and distributor, Jordan's already blazed an independent trail through her own website, pages on popular on-line communities, and indie-artist internet sites. There are a lot of transistors sparking in service of these gentle recordings. Jordan's got a sing-song delivery that echoes Deana Carter's debut, but with a sweeter timbre. She forgoes the electric instrumentation of Nashville's factory productions, but there's still enough gloss to mark this more as mainstream than roots. The album's debut single, "I Turn to Country," sings of comfort in simple pleasures, and the faithful "Ain't No Grave" has a bluegrass gospel groove. There's plenty of genuine sentiment here, from the family jam of "Sweetwater Road" to the nostalgic "Dancin' on Daddy's Feet," but it feels treacly after more than a few songs.
