Inexpensive, but poor design for the panhead.Oct 26, 2007 The quality is decent except for the fact that screw does not tighten down on the panhead ball. This results in the camera just flopping around and difficulty holding the desired position.

DecentOct 10, 2007 The monopod lacks a good swivel lock which limits its use. The monopod otherwise performs its function well.

need tighter controlSep 19, 2007 I bought one of these several weeks ago and ended up donating it to my daughter, who's taking a college photo class. I basically like it, but I couldn't get the camera attached tightly enough on the ball panhead to avert "flopping." I've been using a simple Kodak 68" "Go Anywhere" Pro Monopod (about $10) for most of my non-tripod requirements, but the Kodak head doesn't tilt for angles and verticles. This was my first look at a ball panhead; I've been testing others. (See my other reviews.)
